Potato Meatballs


  • 4 large boiled potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 and 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Parsley
  • For frying:
  • 1 egg
  • Cooking oil


  1. Mash the boiled potatoes thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. Add tomato paste, bread crumbs, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything well.
  3. Finely chop some parsley and add it to the mixture. Mix again to incorporate the parsley evenly.
  4. Take a portion of the mixture and shape it into meatball-like forms.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Dip each potato meatball into the beaten egg.
  6. Heat some cooking oil in a frying pan.
  7. Fry the potato meatballs in the hot oil until they turn golden brown on both sides.
  8. Remove the fried potato meatballs from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  9. Your delicious potato meatballs are now ready to be served. Enjoy!
