Chocolate Cake Recipe


For the cake:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1.5 cups milk (to pour over the cake after baking)

For the cream:

  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 packet powdered whipped cream

For the chocolate sauce:

  • 1.5 cups milk (slightly less than 1.5 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 packet tablet bitter chocolate


  1. Beat the eggs and sugar well. Add milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Mix well. Finally, add the flour and baking powder, and stir until combined. Pour the batter into a greased large square baking dish and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) until the cake is cooked. After baking, pour 1.5 cups of milk over the cake.
  2. For the cream, mix all the ingredients except the powdered whipped cream in a saucepan. Cook and stir until it thickens like custard. Remove from heat and stir until cooled. Once cooled, add the powdered whipped cream and beat with a mixer for about 4 minutes.
  3. For the chocolate sauce, mix all the ingredients except the bitter chocolate in a saucepan. Cook and stir until it thickens. Remove from heat and add the bitter chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts and the sauce cools down.
  4. Pour the chocolate sauce over the cooled cake. Allow the cake to cool completely in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours before serving.
