Chocolate Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS
For the cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1.5 cups milk (to pour over the cake after baking)
For the cream:
- 2.5 cups milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 packet powdered whipped cream
For the chocolate sauce:
- 1.5 cups milk (slightly less than 1.5 cups)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 packet tablet bitter chocolate
INSTRUCTIONS
- Beat the eggs and sugar well. Add milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla. Mix well. Finally, add the flour and baking powder, and stir until combined. Pour the batter into a greased large square baking dish and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) until the cake is cooked. After baking, pour 1.5 cups of milk over the cake.
- For the cream, mix all the ingredients except the powdered whipped cream in a saucepan. Cook and stir until it thickens like custard. Remove from heat and stir until cooled. Once cooled, add the powdered whipped cream and beat with a mixer for about 4 minutes.
- For the chocolate sauce, mix all the ingredients except the bitter chocolate in a saucepan. Cook and stir until it thickens. Remove from heat and add the bitter chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts and the sauce cools down.
- Pour the chocolate sauce over the cooled cake. Allow the cake to cool completely in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours before serving.
