Tahini Cookies (Shaped with an Ice Cream Scoop)


  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • Enough flour to achieve a soft dough (the dough should not stick to your hands)


You can decorate them as you like.


  1. In a deep bowl, mix tahini, vegetable oil, and powdered sugar thoroughly.
  2. Add the baking powder and gradually add the flour, mixing well until you achieve a soft dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.
  3. Shape the dough using an ice cream scoop or roll it into small balls using your hands.
  4. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  6. Bake the cookies for approximately 27-28 minutes. Make sure to monitor them closely as the dough can be quite soft. The cookies should be fully baked and golden brown.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool completely after removing them from the oven.
  8. Once cooled, decorate the cookies as you like.
  9. Serve and enjoy your delicious Tahini Cookies!
