Mini Bite-Sized Pizza

Mini Bite-Sized Pizza

For the dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the sauce:

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Thyme
  • Salt

For the toppings:

  • Sausage
  • Ham
  • 2 green peppers
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Corn
  • Olives
  • (You can use any toppings you like.)

  1. In a large bowl, combine the milk, water, olive oil, sugar, and yeast. Stir until well combined.
  2. Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  6. While the dough is rising, prepare the sauce by combining the tomato paste, water, olive oil, thyme, and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it in half. Roll out each half of the dough into a thin circle.
  8. Spread the sauce over the dough and top with your favorite toppings.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
