Ingredients:
- 1.5 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water (200 ml)
- 2.5-3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yeast and warm water. Add the flour and salt, then knead the dough until smooth. Divide the dough into 5 equal pieces and cover them, allowing them to rise for about 30-40 minutes.
- Roll out each ball of dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops of the lavash with egg yolk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and nigella seeds (black cumin).
- Preheat your oven to the highest setting, around 240°C (464°F). Bake the lavash for 2-3 minutes until it puffs up and becomes golden. Be careful not to overbake it; once it balloons, take it out of the oven.
- Serve the balloon lavash warm. Enjoy!
