Baklava Pastry Cheese Borek Recipe


  • Ready-made baklava pastry sheets
  • Cheese (such as lor or ekşimik)
  • Parsley

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 soda water
  • 2 eggs


  1. Take one sheet of baklava pastry and place it on a clean surface. Sprinkle the cheese (lor or ekşimik) mixed with parsley randomly over the pastry sheet. Gently gather the pastry from one end to the other, creating a pile-like shape, and squeeze it with your hands. Place the prepared börek in a baking dish.
  2. Complete the baking dish with pastry sheets until it is full. Arrange the sheets tightly in the dish. Mix the ingredients for the sauce and pour it over the börek. Bake in a preheated oven.
